ABOUT
THE CHERUBIM TORAH COMMUNITY
The
Cherubim Torah Community would probably have an interest in Talmudic
Midrashim. The stories and legends based on the Bible found in the
Talmud. We accept the 'Jewish Pseudepigrapha' as our core
scriptures. We also use the 'Cherubim Torah' of the Chronicles of
the Children of Destiny as a primary study work, which relates to
the work of producing the 'Cherubim of Eternity' saga, which is the
fictional writings produced by us for the Cherubim Torah Community.
We are not as strictly Karaite as the Advancing Noah Movement. We
make use of the Jewish Pseudepigrapha, as said. We don't have any
weird interpretations of the Pseudepigrapha in terms of applying any
level of historicity to it apart from the general sorts of opinions
of scholarship. We do consider there might be degrees of inspiration
and dvinity within it, but that would be taken mostly with a grain
of salt. We don't have any naive beliefs in this sense. But we like
the writings themselves, and do consider the morality and ethics and
general thrust of holiness therein as suitable for developing a
halakah of sorts, and a spiritual way of life and religion. It is
lower level scripture. We are not dumb in this respects, and accept
it exactly for what it is. But we do like it and find it useful for
religion and religious study. Angelography is a huge part of our
work, and a more regular mainstream everyday sort of approach to
spirituality, were we are not as concerned as the Advancing Noah
Movement as to your actual religious beliefs. Noahides, pretty much
Jews, Christians, Muslims and Bahai are welcome to be members of our
community, and retain their own beliefs. Other people, if they just
want a touch of our spirituality, and angelography, sure, join us.
We are not terribly judgemental and only abide by a basic code of
religious decency and upright behaviour. It's the basic stuff for
us. But we like to ramble on about the pseudepigrapha and, as I said
above, Jewish Midrashim, from the Talmud, would be welcome if Jewish
figures want to contribute a tale or to for our perusal. An orthodox
rabbi is welcome to post midrashim in our group if he (or she)
chooses to
SPICEY THEOLOGY - Cherubim Torah Community
God is God is God. God rules heaven. God rules earth. We knew that. God existed in the beginning in the dream of slumber, at rest eternal. And then contemplated some, and made intuitions on the brilliance of angelkind, and salvation for the heart of the repentant children of Adam and Eve. And God made the world, and made its stuff, and its stuff was cool, especially the dove. And God did love his creation dear, and when he was finished he had a beer. The beer was Heinekin. He likes German beers. Well, dutch actually. Yep, it was a Heinie. Drank down four bottles, got a little bit tipsy, and went for a walk with his old pal Mikey. Then Semyaza was on his mind, and he was wrathful at his shenanigans, but Noah built his boat, and the old world died, and the new world came. Humans laugh, so God probably laughs. Humans cry, and Seinfeld is so average in its Jewish humour that, well, you get the point. Thank God that God likes mankind enough to give them instructions and rules and wisdoms to build lives upon, to guide the way of practicing living, and reaction lessons for our often carnal instincts, lessons which curb the anger, and remind us that 'It ain't worth the hassle'. A big part of staying out of trouble is learning that it aint worth the hassle, so remember that 4 is ok for God, but mostly 1 or 2, and you can probably still drive that car bloke. Rules. I suppose the Cherubim Torah Community needs rules. But we just mostly think about getting along and not causing too much concern for others who might be concerned about us. If you're a big guy, remember the little guys can often find you a challenge, and it isn't easy sometimes with no huge muscles or girth to watch out for yourself or your loved ones. Go easy big boy on the less pumped machos. So God is God is God, and the rules of life are the rules to prolong life, and to keep it going, and to give you a good impression with other people, because if that impression is found to be true because your ethics are cool and decent, good impressions can go a long way for success and genuine and real inter-personal dynamics, especially with the opposite sex. Society needs to be built, so build it, but don't be a frikkin anarchist, who just wants to tear down the system, and makes crap and picky criticisms of it to justify their own trite politics. And its trite because bullshit began a long time ago. Live long. Prosper. Be good. Get enough sleep. Eat good foods. Watch your health. Smile once in a while, and go cold turkey when you need to. And don't worry, be happy. AMEN.

THE CHERUBIM TORAH
S1:P1
Semyaza
Over time, if time is how you measure (which conveys much
ideology in regards to lateral thinking), life can become a life led
not just by yourself. But, who, child of mine, is the one who is
leading your life. Is it you. Is it me. Is it your brothers and
sisters. Is it destiny. And in this life being led, what purpose do
you think it does serve, should serve, and has served
S1:P2
Sharakondra
Lateral thinking is the hallmark of a mind which has
learned to approach problem solving in more than the simplistic or
obvious approach. Sometimes less common or lateral approaches
provide a better solution to a problem. Are you such a child of
Lateral thought?
